Ragui Assaad featured for his work on Middle Eastern labor markets.

Besides doing outstanding research, Professor Assaad has been a consultant to the World Bank, The International Labor Organization, and most recently the Population Council, for which he previously served as Regional Director for West Asia and North Africa, based in Cairo, Egypt. He is a Research Fellow of the Economic Research Forum in Egypt and a non-resident senior fellow at the Global Economic and Development Program of the Brookings Institute in the United States. He has been a member of the Advisory Board of the Human Rights Program at the Institute of Global Studies from 2002-present.
