Jay Kiedrowski puts this year's budget deficit into perspective.

"There's a billion dollar deficit which is about 3% of the budget and I expect that the governor is going to propose tax reform that's going to affect all of the taxes and raise some revenue as a result. The good news is that it's not nearly as bad as it was two years ago when the deficit was $5 billion so the lesser amount is clearly good news."
