High Court Strikes Down Key Provision of Voting Rights Act

Doug Chapin provides analysis on various states' voting laws after Supreme Court decision on Voting Rights Act. Chapin is an elections expert at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs.

The law puts Texas in the group with Indiana and Georgia, which I would categorize as fairly strict.
