Robin Johnson, 48, was charged with two counts of assault, interfering with a 911 call and disorderly conduct after punching Jeff Shand, 50, in the face and hitting a phone out of his hand, according to the Star Tribune.

Witnesses said that Johnson started taunting a player during free throws to make him miss when Shand approached him and told him to stop, according to charges.

Shand then took out his cell phone to call police, according to the Pioneer Press, and Johnson hit it out of his hand. Shand was then hit in the back of the head with a basketball, and when he turned around to look who had thrown it Johnson hit him in the jaw, the charges stated.

Shand was then treated by an oral surgeon who said he suffered three cracked molars, one of which was shattered and had to have fragments extracted.

The e-mail named a local student, but investigation showed that he was not actually involved. Internet Service Providers said the e-mail appeared to have originated from outside the U.S., according to the Associated Press.

I find that it is somewhat effective in that it was easily assumed that the quotes come from an interview with Rich and a reporter. But it is confusing because they never say that they spoke to the woman themselves, so it could be the case that someone else did the interviews, but they would have had to attribute the interviewer, but they did not, so I assumed that they interviewed her themselves.

A surveillance camera caught two woman dropping off the melon at a Plaza Super Jet and employees called in to the jail after watching the video, according to the AP.
