The University Honors Program officially welcomed 576 new freshmen at the third annual Honors Welcome Breakfast, held on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010 at TCF Bank Stadium.
Students mingled with University faculty and staff to the sounds of a student jazz quartet.
Held as part of the University's Welcome Week, the event featured remarks by Robert McMaster, Vice Provost and Dean of Undergraduate Education; Kathleen Price, President of the University Honors Student Association; LeeAnn Melin, Director of Undergraduate Student Initiatives; and Sally Lieberman, Associate Director for National and International Scholarships. University Honors Program director Serge Rudaz served as master of ceremonies.
