Oppositions and solutions

The idea of the several oppositions and possible solutions really sounded interesting in the lecture. I found the mountain homes really fascinating, and i think it would be really cool to see a city or community with homes built right into the ground or in hills in the future. It would be a way for man to really be more connected to nature and live with nature. Some of the oppositions i have found near me in Minneapolis are of gravity, being that my hall has four floors and a basement, and i living on the fourth floor, find it really inconvenient to run up and down the stairs everytime i do laundry in the basement or other things. I think either elevators or some kind of operating system should be installed to eliminate this problem. Another opposition of movement that i discovered was that a set of stairs i use when walking to one of my classes was really starting to ware and erode due to the movement of several people over them. The obvious solution would probably be to use a better material that can resist the several feet that walk on them each day. These little things can seen as oppositions and could be easily addressed.
