Going Against the Grain

I don't think that the unbalance of gender equality in managerial or positions of power will change until somebody decides to go against the grain. A trend has to start with women being considered and hired for jobs like Athletic Director. That would be a total 180 for most schools to even consider a woman. On a smaller scale i think schools would have to allow women coaches to coach women sports and mean coach men sports. That is the best way to ensure a balance for equality in an organization.
