HR Assumptions and McGregor's Theories

Throughout all organizations, managers use both Theory X and Y. If managers are making decisions following the administrative model, they may face the consequences of Theory X. However, if managers use the rational model, Theory Y is more applicable. The HR assumptions can also apply to all sport organizations, and may evolve to fit more positive or negative circumstances. We used the example of the Saints placing bounties on star opposing players.
