Suffrage in the Sport Industry

As a future worker in the sport industry, one of the most important things to keep in mind is equality. I will at some point in my future have a say in who is hired, and I want to make sure I do my hiring in the most fair way possible. I need to make sure I don't have any biases about a person based on any factor such as race, gender, age, etc. One way I will go about this is to make sure I am only hiring based on facts. The facts I will focus on are the skills of the person and any specific personality traits that match with what we are looking for. I will also do my best to make hiring committees. If I make sure there are a lot of people contributing to the hiring discussion, I will be able to make sure we are all using ethical practices. If I end up working with a mens sport, one of the most important things I will do is make sure to not worry about hiring a woman in any role just because it is a mens team. The most qualified candidate wins, regardless of any gender, color, age, etc.
