The future is in our hands

As a future sport manager, I want to do my best not to stereotype and discriminate against a specific gender. In order to do that, you must have some sort of hiring strategy. An organization should not have a discrimination against a specific gender. When looking to hire, the names should be kept anonymous to see if they like the qualities of a person before knowing whether they are a female or male. Once they have selected a number of applications, looking at the name is acceptable. Having an equal number of women and men in the organization would be ideal. There would be no issues of gender discrimination if there were an equal number. Showing that women can be leaders and powerful, people will have a new respect for them and treat them the same way that they would treat a male leader. If there is a male and female with the same qualifications and qualities, I would most likely hire the women. It is important for other women to see women leaders at high position levels; it is likely that they will strive to be a leader if they know it is possible.
