Help on podcasting from my blog?
OK -- I'm still lost. Is anyone out there, by chance, who has done this (uploading a postcast using uThink)? I'd welcome any tips on how to do this! I have an mp3 file ready to upload, and was told it was a simple process of going into my blog and in one click I could have the file uploaded. But this I think presumes that I know what to click! I did try seleccting "upload file" under the posting category, got as far as locating the mp3, but when I clicked on the upload button nothing happened... hmm.

When you click upload again, be patient and wait for a while. If you are doing this from off campus, and using IE, it may take a minute. What you should see next is the option to create a new entry with your uploaded file. Click that and save your new entry. That should be it.

Thanks for your help Shane! You give me hope that at least I am on the right track, because I did click on upload, but nothing happened, and this time I did wait for quite a while. I am off campus, and using Safari (I'm on a Mac). So I'm wondering if the problem might be:
(a) there's something wrong with my mp3 file (it was a .wav and I used Audacity to convert it to mp3, and I checked that the converted file plays before I tried to upload it
(b) the local site path I just entered "audio" as a desitnation file (following a tip I read at http://weblogs.elearning.ubc.ca/audio/archives/011815.php#more )
Any other advice? Many thanks!

It worked! You were right, Shane. I guess I didn't wait long enough, because by the time I finished typing the above response to you, I did get the option to create a new entry with my uploaded file. I clicked this, saved the new entry, as as you predicted, that was it! Now I am excited about learning more:)
