Although there are multiple ways to measure intelligence, what type of intelligence is being tested? If you were like me I thought there was just one "intelligence". Well let me shed some light on the subject and maybe you'll find which type you are!

Linguistic Intelligence:
Speak and write well

Logicomathmatical Intelligence:
use logic and mathematical skills to solve problems, such as scientific qustions

Spatial Intelligence:
Think and reason about objects in three-dimensional space

Musical intelligence:
Perform, understand, and enjoy music

Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence:
manipulate the body in sports, dance, or other physical endeavors

Interpersonal intelligence:
Understand and interact effectively with others

AND FINALLY Naturalistic Intelligence:
Recognize, identify, and understand animals, plants, and other living things

I never knew that there were this many types of intelligence let alone that you can view an individuals intelligence by how these different types act as a whole. Personally i think that my strongest intelligence types are Logicomathematical, Bodily-kinesthetic, and Interpersonal intelligence because of my activity in sports, math skills, and (at least i hope) my ability to effectively communicate with others. So now my question is which are you?

I like your design to this blog, it's different but way more interesting. I agree, little did I know that there were multiple types of intelligence. If I had to connect with a couple of these types it would probably be Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence, and Interpersonal intelligence. This is simply because I like to be outside or doing some sort of physical activity daily. I also tend to get along with others very well. I would rather work in a group to get a certain assignment done, than to work alone.

Your blog is very visual and interesting. I would have to agree that I did not really know about how there are multiple intelligences. I would say that my strongest intelligence types are naturalistic and spacial intelligence. I would say these are my main intelligences because i really love animals and I am a very visual person.

I really enjoyed your entry, much less dry than the others. I appreciate you putting the information in an easy to read and informative manner. I believe I have Linguistic Intelligence, Interpersonal Intelligence, and Naturalistic Intelligence.

Like the others, I had no idea that there were different types of intelligence. This post was fun to read, and it teaches a lot without being too long and without being boring. This information will help me to understand different types of people, knowing that people can excel in different areas, rather than just being "smart" and "dumb."

Overall, these different types of intelligence intrigued me. However, I found the bodily-kinesthetic intelligence most interesting. Whenever you hear about a gifted athlete, they are often termed a "natural athlete". I've never really equated a naturally "intelligent" student with a naturally gifted athlete. Thinking of them both as a high level of intelligence just struck me as odd, but it makes perfect sense.

I also like the format of this blog post and the way it incorporated more pictures. I actually became aware of these other intelligences in high school. We had to take a survey and then we were given our main intelligence. I believe my top one was bodily kinesthetic, which I would agree with. The survey seemed to be fairly accurate due to the fact that most of those in my class would agree that the intelligence that they received would be the most likely out of the intelligences. It is an interesting thing to bring up in terms of learning. It can help prove that people learn in different ways. This could eliminate the fact that some people believe others are less smart than they are based on the way that they learn.

I never knew there were as many different intelligences as there are either. It does make sense, though, to have different intelligence levels for different areas. Especially since someone who is intelligent in math isn't necessarily intelligent in music or in sports. Measuring intelligence generally would be extremely different since many areas of our though process don't always cross paths or correlate to each other well enough for us to prove someone would be intelligent in both areas. I believe my strong intelligence areas are bodily-kinesthetic intelligence because of my participation in sports, musical intelligence because of my previous experience with band and piano lessons, and interpersonal intelligence, or I hope so anyways. I like to think I can communicate well with others.

I first heard about the so-called different styles of learning about half way through high school, however, never really thought a lot about it. The styles I connect most with are probably bodily-kinesthetic and interpersonal because I think I learn best when I am up and about. Your layout made it very easy to follow!
