Time Killers
We were not just plain old boring killers, we were time killers. We got to be pretty good at slaying the boredom during he long lull's of action, and since I just figured out how to upload videos, I thought I would share these with you. These should lighten the mood a bit after m last entry.
Rubber bullet in the Ass!
This proves I have at like reflexes... Me demonstrating how to ignite artillery propellant, and almost getting burned!
The next tiger woods!
The man in the gun turret had to try and explain the giant bruise on his chest to his wife.
Self Explanatory
Maybe this is only funny if you served... This was a tribute to a dumb ass lieutenant who tried to get himself a purple heart, and he probably should not have been in he Army... Thank you Lt. George Hurd for all the laughs!

Watching all of these videos in one go was... distressing. I think you are right to point out the reduction in the coverage of combat in Iraq and Afghanistan, in favour of more palatable stories. The pirate story did get more air than it needed to, the military component was relatively unexciting (even if there were video of the shots, I suspect that it would look more like a hunting video than the combat footage you provided), but it did have the novelty of pirates. Which in part was related to the incongruous ideas of the real pirates and "PIRATES!" in people's minds. This collection of material reminded me a lot of Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket with its combination of horror and gallows humour. On a technical note, the video that features you in it (from the first set) was really well paced and edited. 5/5
