Delius Birthday and Festival
Happy Birthday Frederick Delius, on January 29th!
The Delius Society has just released details about registering for the 2006 Annual General Meeting, which will be held in Bradford in conjunction with the 'Delius Inspired' Festival featuring Tasmin Little. The festival is part of a larger event named "Illuminate," celebrating Yorkshire culture in five cities including Bradford, Delius's birthplace. The complete concert program is available at Tasmin's website. For those of us who can't make it to the Festival, BBC Radio 3 will provide broadcasts of the concerts from Bradford (3-8 July) either as live events or deferred relay.
