Sad news

From today's Monday Memo:

Marian Kienholz, a long-time Libraries staff member who retired in 1991, passed away earlier this summer and a notice appeared recently in the Star Tribune:

Marian was the former music cataloger here at the U. I remember meeting Marian at one of the very first Midwest Chapter (Music Library Association) meetings that I attended. I'll be sure to pass this news on at the Chapter business meeting next week. My sympathies to her remaining family and friends...

New Music Genre: Wizard Rock

A new music genre called Wizard Rock features songs related to the Harry Potter books, played by bands like the Remus Lupins and Harry and the Potters.
