Post-Strike Report
We're back to full strength following the tentative settlement to the strike! That means that rush requests can be sent to Kristi. One thing to note, though, is that the LRC reclassification project has been deemed the TS top priority. Both Kristi and Mary are working on this project.

Art in the Libraries/Gene Gutché Exhibition

Art in the Libraries Exhibit Opening Reception
On Friday September 14 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Music Library (70 Ferguson Hall), there will be an opening reception for the fall "Art in Libraries Exhibition," a collaboration involving the University’s Department of Art, the Music Library, and Wilson Library. This exhibition will feature new two- and three-dimensional art in various media produced by graduate students in the Department of Art.
Gene Gutche, A Centennial Celebration of a Composer's Birth

An exhibit highlighting the work of acclaimed composer and Minnesota native Gene Gutche, including original scores, photographs, letters, and other materials from the Performing Arts Archives at the Libraries. Free and open to the public
A Musical Tribute to Gene Gutché
Featuring commentary by Minnesota Public Radio host Michael Barone and performances by Minnesota Orchestra musicians
Lloyd Ultan Recital Hall, Ferguson Hall
Monday, September 17 at 6:45 p.m.
Free and open to the public. The event is co-sponsored by the Schubert Club and the University Libraries
