LC to use FG headings in new cataloging

Hot off the press!

LC has just announced that they will be using the new LC form/genre headings exclusively in new cataloging starting 1 January 2009. Headings from Moving Image Genre-Form Guide (MIGFG), Moving Image Materials: Genre Terms (MIM) will no longer be assigned.
