Ross Perko delivers a poster presentation for a crowd at the 19th annual conference of Global Health Education Consortium in Cuernavaca, Mexico on April 9. His study (conducted along with Rachel Perko, Margaret Perko and Troy Lund) supplied three separate community-run orphanages in Kampala, Uganda, with medicine cabinets containing basic, common household medical supplies (e.g., acetaminophen, hydrocortisone, gauze pads, oral rehydration packets, a thermometer) and providing education to orphanage caregivers on use of these supplies.
