Tim Meade, M.D., CEO and founder of Tiny Tim & Friends, met July 13 with global pediatrics residents to discuss the new international elective opportunity in Lusaka, Zambia. The elective experience will include two clinics per week at a private outpatient clinic (~200 patients served per day) and a complement of time spent going with a mobile outreach team into the compounds surrounding Lusaka to screen and treat minor illnesses (~1000 patients served per month).
