Sarah Cusick, Ph.D., presented, "Iron Deficiency and Malaria: A Dangerous Coexistence" at Pediatric Grand Rounds on January 30, 2013. Dr. Cusick is an expert in global nutrition and, specifically, the intersection of micronutrient deficiencies and infectious disease. Her research focuses on iron deficiency, and she recently returned from a six-week trip to Uganda to set up her current study.
