Ashley Balsam, MD, (below right) delivers a poster presentation titled "Impact of Global Health Residency Training on Medical Knowledge of Immigrant Health" (Balsam A, Boulware D, Walker P, Stauffer W, Hendel-Paterson B, Rothenberger M, Setgast A, Kim M, Debes J), which showed that, in a sample of 484 residents who had received medical training in global health, a marked sample showed ability to apply that knowledge in a clinical setting post residency.

Cindy Howard, MD, MPHTM, (right) and Sophie Gladding, PhD, (left) moderated a widely popular table topic on global health competencies, on which the Pediatric Global Health Track curriculum has been based. Dr. Howard authored the competencies and Dr. Gladding provided expertise in evaluation of pediatric resident education curriculum.
