Robert Balint, the Balazs scholar for 2009-10 at Starr-King School for the Ministry, Berkeley, CA, will be visting St. Paul on the weekend of March 19-21, 2010.
Please mark your calendar for two events, both on Saturday, March 20, 2010 and both at Unity Church-Unitarian. At 9:00-11:00 a.m. there will be a presentation and conversation with Robert. AND at 6:00 p.m. a potluck dinner. All are welcome.
The program is organized by the Unity Church-Unitarian.
Robert Balint will also be preaching at all three services on Sunday, March 21, at the 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. services. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Rev. Robert Balint is minister of the Unitarian Church in Meszko. In addition to his theological studies, Balint has completed a degree in sociology at Kolozsvár Babes Bolyai University. He has been involved in the Unitarian youth movement and worked with local social and charity organizations. With others, he has started the Balázs Ferenc Historical Preservation Project, designed to preserve and promote Francis Balázs' spiritual and material heritage. His wife, Réka, is a forestry supervisor. They have two children.
