Anna Jaroszynska-Kirchmann, a professor of history at Eastern Connecticut University will talk about her new book, The Exile Mission: The Polish Political Diaspora and Polish Americans, 1939-1956. The talk will be held at the Polish American Library, 2514 Central Avenue NE, Minneapolis on December 29 at 7:00 PM. Parking on street and behind the building.

"Christmas at the Inn": Saturday, December 4, 2010 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm and Sunday, December 5, 2010 from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm.
The Elmbrook Historical Society (Elm Grove and Brookfield) is holding a German "Christmas at the Inn." The historic 1842 Dousman Stagecoach Inn Museum, 1075 Pilgrim Parkway, Brookfield, WI will be decorated in traditional holiday styles of Germans living in four regions.
