"Christmas at the Inn": Saturday, December 4, 2010 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm and Sunday, December 5, 2010 from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm.

The Elmbrook Historical Society (Elm Grove and Brookfield) is holding a German "Christmas at the Inn." The historic 1842 Dousman Stagecoach Inn Museum, 1075 Pilgrim Parkway, Brookfield, WI will be decorated in traditional holiday styles of Germans living in four regions.

There will be demonstrations on how to make paper stars, Pomeranian Advent Rose lights, stories of childhood memories of Christmas in Germany, singing German carols and children will decorate a wooden gingerbread man ornament to take home. Begin your preparations for the holidays at the bake sale and shop at the silent auction. There is a small admission charge going to the society for programming and upkeep and maintenance of the buildings.
