Book Sale and Annual Picnic

What: Book Sale

When: Saturday, August 20, 9:00 - 2:00 p.m.

The sale will feature many books that MGS and other groups affiliated with MGS have deemed "extra" or that are already in our permanent collection.

There is a large variety of books of the following:

  • military histories
  • specific states
  • studies
  • directories
  • histories
a ton of genealogical books that will add to your own genealogical collection. MGS and the affiliated groups are very excited about the sale so we expect it to be very good indeed. If you have books to sell, bring them to the MGS Building before August 20, or on the morning of the 20th. We will try to sell any books you bring. This is our first time holding this kind of sale, so come with cash ready to buy as you are bound to pick up a number of bargains, as well as books that will help you in your genealogical searches.
