The Czech and Slovak Cultural Center of MN is sponsoring a play "From the Insect World" by Josef and Karel Capek that will be performed at the Rarig Center at the University of Minnesota on Saturday, January 7th, at 7:30PM.

Nominations for the 6th Annual Immigrant of District Award

The Minnesota/Dakotas Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) is pleased to announce that it is now accepting nominations from the community for its sixth annual Immigrant of Distinction Award.

The Immigrant of Distinction Award honors immigrants in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota who have made substantial contributions to their communities or professions through exceptional leadership, high achievement or moral courage. Nominees serve as role models to future immigrants and citizens alike, remind us of the debt we all owe to the creative force of immigration, and illustrate the blessings of this great country.
