The Immigration History Research Center offers Grants In Aid to support researchers traveling to use the Center's expansive historical collections. The deadline for the coming year is June 1, 2011. For more information, see Grants in Aid.

Free & open to all on Friday, May 27: There will be a showing of the student and UMN faculty-produced video The Clothes I Wear along with a discussion with Professor Kathy Fennelly and videographer Ramon Hough of the Humphrey School of Public Affairs.

Congratulations to IHRC staffers Keit Osadchuk (Undergraduate Research Assistant) and Mia Overly (Senior Administrative Assistant). Each has been selected for an Outstanding Student Employee Award given by the Office for Student Affairs.
