The Archival Summer Seminar, organized by the German Historical Institute, is a two-week program for advanced graduate students in German historical studies. The majority of the time in Germany will be spent in various German archives where participants will be trained to read old German script, discuss research methods, and become prepared for prospective dissertation research trips. Applications are due December 31, 2011.
