Nora Paul spoke at "Online Journalism in the Arab World: Realities and Challenges"
Nora Paul traveled to the Middle East in November 2005 to take part in a conference entitled "Online Journalism in the Arab World: Realities and Challenges." The conference took place November 22-23 at the College of Communications at the University of Sharjah in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, and brought together journalists and journalism educators from Algeria, Iraq, Egypt, Qatar, Palestine, Lebanon, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and the United ArabEmirates. Paul was on a panel with three other U.S.-based educators discussing new media education and digital storytelling. The conference was organized by Muhammad Ayish, who earned a doctorate in mass communication from the SJMC in 1986.
