Investigative Reporters and Editors, Inc. (IRE) workshop in Minneapolis
The University of Minnesota hosted this regional workshop and the SJMC Minnesota Journalism Center was one of several sponsors of the IRE's Watchdog Journalism Workshop held in October 2007 at the McNamara Center. The workshop helped guide reporters in the effective use of the Internet, open-records laws, computer-assisted reporting and anonymous sources which featured Nora Paul and Kathleen Hansen as speakers.
