Hello All!
We hope this mid-semester time finds you all well. The ASU board and helpers have been working hard to bring to you the biggest event of the year we host, Spring Conference Week. The week is filled with exciting workshops, and it concludes with a beautiful banquet on Saturday.
Details are as follows:
Monday: Tea Ceremony
Co-hosted with Japanese Student Association, come enjoy great food and performances in the President's Room on 3rd floor of Coffman. Event is from 6-8 PM.
Tuesday: Diversity & Dumpling
Learn how to make dumplings, eat some, and learn about the bi-cultural life style. Held in CMU 219 (ASU) from 6-8 PM
Wednesday: Professional & Dining Etiquette
Learn how to be smart with your money, time and self-promotion! Also, most important learn about dining etiquette while enjoying a dinner, so you can learn to make a great impression! Held in CMU Mississippi Room, from 6-9 PM
Thursday: A New Generation & Martial Arts
Learn all about Asian-Americans in modern America, and also get a one-on-one martial arts lesson. Free food by Cane's Chicken Fingers! Held in CMU Room 219 (ASU) from 6-8 PM
Friday: Sushi & Nutrition
Our famous Sushi night is back, and it's sponsored by Azuki Sushi. Also, learn about a healthy lifestyle while you're at it. Held in CMU room 303 from 7-10 PM. (Limited to first 60 people)
Saturday: Spring Conference Banquet
An elegant dinner catered by various local eateries. Look forward to fun student group performances, and bands: IBU and Seriously. Also performing is Kenichi Ebina, a break dancer from New York, the show is hosted by comedian Mike Anderson. Business casual attire, no jeans. Free for all UofM students, $10 general public. Held in CMU Great Hall from 6-9 PM
