My home country is Cameroon, and I came here about two years ago. I am currently a third year student at the University of Minnesota and I am majoring in Biomedical Engineering, quite an interesting major and mainly for people who can handle hot sauce :). Aside from school, I enjoy reading and I am pretty good at pencil drawing! I also speak French, so if you want to practice or learn new words...* [I am] raising both hands* :)

I am Misa, a second year master's student in the Comparative and International Development Education track at the Department of Educational Policy and Administration. OK, long enough. You can call as CIDE at EdPA. You will be surprised (and may be overwhelmed) by all the acronyms on campus at the beginning. Acronyms can be confusing, but once you are over the "recognizing" stage, they actually make your life easier. So no worries. Oh, by the way, my name happened to stand for Minnesota International Student Association (MISA) and Minnesota Institute for Sustainable Agriculture (MISA), too. Aha! Now you know I was meant to be in this university (^ ^).
I am originally from Japan. I love travelling, dancing (I currently do tap dancing), sports, outdoor activites, theater, and meeting old and new friends from all over the world. I am excited to be an ambassador, and look forward to sharing my experience at the U (...again, another abbreviation) with you.
