Medical School Updates

Pre-Medical Scholars Program: The Pre-Medical Scholars Program will not be accepting applications for 2008-2009. They will decide whether to continue the program after a complete evaluation and analysis.
Information Sessions Scheduled: The Medical School Office of Admissions will offer information sessions this summer on the following dates:
Tuesday, June 3, 2008 2-3:00 p.m.
Tuesday, June 17, 2008 2-3:00 p.m.
Thursday, July 10, 2008 2-3:00 p.m.
Thursday, July 24, 2008 2-3:00 p.m.
Tuesday, August 5, 2008 2-3:00 p.m.
Registration and more details will be available in a few weeks on the University of Minnesota Medical School web site at: http://www.meded.umn.edu/admissions/.
Finally, the University of Minnesota Medical School is making efforts to update their web site with relevant and current information including audio and slides from the recent Pre-Med Day event held on April 5. Students should refer to the Medical School Admissions website for information concerning programs offered, the requirements for admission, and the reasons why current medical students chose the U of M.
