Professory Tim Lodge received the 2009 SPSJ International Award from the Society of Polymer Science, Japan for his excellent contributions to polymer science.
Tim Lodge joins Professor Chris Macosko (2008), both of the Microstructured Polymers program, as a recipient of the award.
Professor Lodge also serves as the Director of the University of Minnesota's Materials Research Science and Engineering Center (MRSEC). Read more... |

Professor Satish Kumar of IPrime's CPF program has been chosen as the recipient of the 2010 L. E. Scriven Young Investigator Award of the International Society of Coating Science and Technology (ISCST).
This award is given in recognition of outstanding sustained achievements or one-time breakthroughs in the area of liquid film coating science and technology.
The award will be presented at the 15th International Coating Science and Technology Symposium, 12-15 September 2010, in St. Paul, MN.

The ISCST will present a range of topics related to liquid applied coatings in St. Paul, MN, at the Crowne Plaza Riverfront Hotel on Sept. 12-15, 2010.
The Symposim is chaired by Professor Lorraine Francis, program leader for IPrime's Coating Process Fundamentals Program, and co-chaired by Dr. W. Blake Kolb of 3M, an IPrime member company.
