Freshmen are encouraged to wait a year to gain academic experience and perspective.

Get career advice from an experienced professional
Each fall, the CSE Mentor Program matches more than 250 sophomore, junior and senior students with science, math, and engineering professionals.
- As a student in the CSE Mentor Program, you take the lead in the relationship and identify your goals for the career exploration.
- Your mentor will provide career information, strategies, and advice on how to reach your academic and professional goals.
- You may also tour a company or work site, attend professional meetings, and get feedback on your resume.
You will set the groundwork for a lasting professional network and gain access to an insider's perspective on navigating your career path and preparing for the transition from college life to the workplace.
