Honoring Women Worldwide currently has several scholarships available for its College Leadership Mentoring Program for Women of color.
This program pairs first-generation junior and senior female college students of color in science, technology, and engineering programs with top female professionals in companies around the Twin Cities such as 3M and Boston Scientific.
Meetings are on the first Thursday of every month and participation requires a time commitment of 4 hours a month during the academic year.
To be eligible:
- Students must have a 3.0 GPA or higher
- Students' mothers cannot have attended college as the program is seeking first-generation, diverse females who want to grow and develop their leadership skills.
- Students must be junior or senior students.
