It's a 3D outdoor light show experience!
Join CSE this month for a dazzling light show designed by students. The show is even bigger and better this year with more than 100,000 LED lights set to music composed and performed by University of Minnesota students.
CSE Winter Light Show Premiere
Friday, Dec. 7, 2012
Entertainment starts at 5 p.m.
Light shows at 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Civil Engineering Building Plaza
The event is free and open to the public.

The entire show will last about 15 minutes. The light show is presented by the Tesla Works student group with help from Radio K. The show is sponsored by CenterPoint Energy and the University of Minnesota College of Science and Engineering.
The Premiere Party, hosted by the student group MinnesoTap, will include dance, demonstrations, and interactive exhibits in the Rapson Hall Indoor Courtyard. The Formula SAE team will have their race car on display. Premiere Party performances are at 5, 6, and 7 p.m.
Dessert empanadas, hot chocolate, and cider available for sale. Proceeds will go to Amplatz Children's Hospital.
Preceding the CSE Winter Light Show Premiere Party, the Science and Engineering Student Board (SESB) is hosting a "Freezin' for a Reason" 5K Run. For more information about the run, visit z.umn.edu/cse5k. All proceeds from the 5K Run will be donated to the Amplatz Children's Hospital.
After the premiere events on Friday, Dec. 7 the light show will run at 5:30, 6, 6:30, 7, and 7:30 p.m. as follows (depending on weather and attendance):
