Encouraging student creativity and innovation
All CSE students are encouraged to apply online for the new Envision Fund. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering launched the initiative to encourage student creativity and innovation.
Students can receive up to $500 for their extracurricular project idea involving electrical engineering and computer engineering content.
Apply now at z.umn.edu/eceenvision.
Applications are accepted throughout the year and will be reviewed during the third week of each regular semester. As many as 10 to 20 proposals may be funded each year.
The Envision Fund is sponsored by Barr Engineering, DigiKey, Emerson, IEEE-Minnesota Chapter, and ExxonMobil.
Individuals and teams are welcome to apply, and freshmen and sophomores are encouraged to join in. If students need help organizing a team or finding a team to join, contact Kyle Dukart at email@example.com.
