The Career Center for Science and Engineering is offering a wide variety of workshops to help prepare you for the 2013 Spring Science and Engineering Career Fair on Thursday, Feb. 7.

Your resume is an important tool to market your experiences to prospective employers. This workshop will cover what information is necessary or most important on a resume, and how you can best market and communicate your education, skills, and experiences most related to the type of position you are seeking.

Whether you are applying for an internship or full-time job, the interview is one of the most important parts of the application process. This workshop will outline the different types of interviews and questions you can expect, how to best prepare and succeed in your interview, and provide you with suggested strategies you can use to answer some of the most commonly asked interview questions. The Career Center for Science and Engineering, along with General Electric, offers two Career Fair prep workshops for students to help you prepare for the Science and Engineering Career Fair. Information presented will include what to wear, what to bring, and how to make a positive impression with employers you meet at the fair.

Do you need your resume reviewed prior to the Career Fair? If so, the Career Center for Science and Engineering (CCSE) will offer 10-minute resume reviews by employer partners. Arrive early to ensure you receive a resume review. Resumes will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. No advance appointments can be made.
