Speaker on Friday, April 5 will talk about careers in the mining industry

The University of Minnesota Chapter of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration is hosting a talk by Jack Croswell from Cliffs Natural Resources on Friday, April 5, 12:15 p.m., Civil Engineering Building, Room 210. Croswell will be presenting on careers in the mining industry for students majoring in geology, mechanical, civil, chemical and electrical engineering. Free lunch!

The CSE Admission to the Major database is now accepting applications for fall semester admission into the major. In order to be eligible to apply, you must have completed or currently be enrolled in the required courses for your chosen major. Most CSE students apply while enrolled in sophomore level courses. If you are eligible, please apply immediately!
