Enter your idea in the Crime Innovation Challenge by Thursday, April 10 for a chance to win $1,500

Help improve campus safety!

Do you have an innovative idea to enhance campus safety? Enter it in the Crime Innovation Challenge!

Hosted by The Echo Spot, Co-Lab, and the Minnesota Student Association, in conjunction with the Office for Student Affairs and the Office of Public Engagement, the Crime Innovation Challenge is an opportunity for students to develop creative suggestions on how to improve campus safety.

Submissions are due Thursday, April 10, 2014.

Entries can range from a concept to a fully developed prototype. Judging criteria is based on creativity and ability to implement. Cash prizes totaling $1,500 will be awarded to finalists.

If you have an idea for the Crime Innovation Challenge but need help developing it, Co-Lab can help. For $10, Co-Lab's Fellows can assist you using their expertise in graphic design, mass communications, web development, and business development. You can also use Co-Lab's collaborative working environment while developing your idea. Find details at
