On Monday the 25 we got a lecture at DTU about the importance of wind turbines and on Tuesday the 26 we headed to Aalborg.

We got on the bus at 5:00am and arrived in Copenhagen yesterday at around 1:00 this time (we are 7 hours ahead of central time).
Read more...Most of us awoke and hit breakfast at 7:30am. We headed to The United Nations University and we had our first lecture. The topic was Geothermal Energy. Dr Invar B Fridleifsson, a Nobel Laureate, spoke about the present and future prospects of geothermal and other renewable energy resources.

Faculty member Paul Imbertson (electrical and computer engineering) leads this seminar to study existing and planned energy production methods and energy usage in the Scandinavian countries of Iceland, Denmark, and Norway.
