We got to Rome at around 2:00 PM Local Time on Wednesday the 19th. In order to get used to the seven hour Central Time Difference we made our way to the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. There is a busy day in the Vatican waiting for us tomorrow.

May 18 -June 7, 2010. The purpose of this class is to explore the development of structures and building materials in Italy from Roman times to the present. Fundamentals of material behavior, structural mechanics, and design methods will be presented by the instructors and guest lecturers from Italian universities.
