Day 6: The Great Wall of China

Last Day in Beijing

The Great Wall of China
... is one of the Seven Wonders of the World
... stretches for about ~6000 km
... is the only man-made creation on earth seen from the outer space

We went to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. It consists of three towers and compared to the Badaling section, Mutianyu is less crowded, safer to walk on, and has gondolas and toboggans tourists can use to go up and down the wall. Aside from the majestic view of the wall, the toboggan ride was my favorite part of trip.

Thank you Beijing for first welcoming us to China, now we have to move on and visit Harbin (the city up north with the Minnesota-like weather).

We have arrived at Harbin, a place very similar to Minnesota (weather-wise) around ~10pm, and went straight to our hotel. We are checked-in at the Sofitel, one of the 5-star hotels in Harbin.

Thanks to our daily morning tutorials taught by Anas, we have these three phrases:
We will miss you! - 我们会想念你 (wǒmen huì xiǎngniàn nǐ)
You're crazy! - 你疯了 (Nǐ fēng le)
Please - 请 (Qǐng)

Adam, wǒmen huì xiǎngniàn nǐ!
