Tuesday, H.I.T. Day 2
Today we finished up our visit by touring around their Computer Science and Technology facility which is ranked 5th in the country. They get funding from companies such as Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Microsoft Research Asia, etc.

Exploring their campus
While touring a part of their campus, we saw little kids at day care exercising.

Bicycle culture: the kids are trained early on
Prof. Kang Lei's (Victor's) research on using signal processing and electromagnetic force to determine a defect on train tracks
Behind is one of their sculptures on campus (I think represents ringed planet--since they're big on Astronautics)

Purdue University came and visited yesterday. They hung their wishes and messages on H.I.T.'s Wish Tree.
Here's a quick raw video of us, for the first time sitting at one table for lunch. We usually get split into two groups for lunch because the tables are not big enough to hold everyone.

Learn Chinese and Russian with Us
Yes, Russian too! As stated before, Harbin has a lot of Russian influence and so we decided to learn some Russian today.
