Engineers Without Borders-UMN Uganda Project
The Engineers Without Borders-University of Minnesota student chapter presents Anatomy of a Project: A Story Through Imagery.
Since February 2007, EWB-UMN has been working with the Uganda Rural Fund to bring potable water and ecological sanitation to a new school in Uganda called the Hope Integrated Academy. Without these basic systems in place, the school would not be able to provide the education, as well as access to health, livelihood, and improved quality of life, for these young people and the surrounding community of Mulobere. To address the need for water and sanitation, a team of students and professional engineers from the University of Minnesota and local engineering companies are working with Uganda community members to develop solutions.
