Is the Internet running out of space?
With Internet traffic growing steadily, rumors that overusage will crash this pillar of modern society crop up from time to time. But University of Minnesota researcher Andrew Odlyzko doesn't buy that. He sees traffic growing at somewhere around 50 percent per year and the average internet user consumes 10 to 15 gigabytes of data per month, but it's nothing to worry about -- at least not yet. Wireless devices like iPhones and Blackberries are putting a strain on the networks and current technology can catch up.
