Machines infected with the DNSChanger virus will no longer be able to resolve web-site names such as google.com or www.umn.edu after July 9, 2012, and will appear to lose access to the Internet.
Steps to take:
1. Visit http://www.dns-ok.us to see if your computer is infected. A green background means not infected.
2. If your computer is infected, visit http://www.fbi.gov/news/stories/2011/november/malware_110911 for further information and instructions on how to clean your computer.
