LP to Digital Recording System
UMC Library has acquired an Audio-Technica’s AT-PL50 stereo turntable which has a built-in switchable phono preamp that allows direct connection to your computer.
The turntable comes with a copy of Cakewalk PYRO software; an audiophile-quality phono cartridge; and an adapter cable. The system can be used to transfer your (your parents) old tunes off the vinyl recordings and into a format that can be used on a portable player. Using the system requires some set up and using the software requires some attention to detail. View the turntable.
