New Early Childhood Curriculum database
KCDL Online (Kraus Curriculum Development Library) is a database of curricula, frameworks, and standards that brings together educational objectives, content, instructional strategies, and evaluative techniques for all subjects covered in PreK-12. The database indexes materials for the print/microfiche collection and contains most recent materials as full text documents. Recent additions to the database are available as full text documents.
The basic initial search is simple search box. There is a search tips screen which identifies the truncation symbol (*) and has a few tips. The Advanced Search is a complex set of limits and qualifying terms. The Advanced Search would be most useful after doing some practice searching in the database and examining the terms and limits found in documents which you have found useful.
Some of the documents are large and while useful may require additional work to locate the specific part you want, i.e. the K-3 part of a science curriculum from a large school district.
